Today I want to share one of the biggest secrets of startling prediction.
We all know Jyotish is the Vedic wisdom of Shruti and Smriti — knowledge delivered from the Divine and remembered by great masters. It is never decoded on the surface. One has to cultivate the habit of reading between the lines.
Sometimes an entire predictive rule is hidden in a single sentence.
For example — in Sarwarth Chintamani it is written that if the 2nd lord is exalted, the native has a smiling face. Now what is unwritten? If it is debilitated — naturally the face may look dull, stretched, or unhappy. When combust — gums may show while smiling, or eyes may appear drooping or sleepy. These are clues — not full statements.
Jyotish always demands observation.
That is why one of my favourite practices is predicting charts from people’s faces. The sutras are all there in classical texts — but they reveal themselves only when you apply them repeatedly.
The Lesser-Known Aspect of Rahu
Most students know Rahu aspects the 5th and 9th houses.
But there is a lesser-discussed dimension — Rahu’s 3rd aspect, mentioned in certain versions of BPHS (Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra), especially in the dialogue of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati.
In that context, Shiva explains:
If Mars or Rahu becomes Putra Karaka and they connect with each other — through conjunction, sign placement, or aspect — it can create lineage disturbances, especially impacting children or the next generation.
Example:
-
Rahu in Ascendant
-
Mars (Putra Karaka) in 3rd house
Even here, Rahu’s 3rd aspect links them — forming a hidden Mars–Rahu bond.
Nature of the Combination
Mars represents:
-
Blood
-
Courage
-
Lineage karma
-
Ancestral action
Rahu represents:
-
Obsession
-
Distortion
-
Uncontrolled amplification
When combined — it creates Angarak energy — volatile, restless, karmically charged.
If this forms in signs like Gemini or Virgo, problems may manifest through:
-
Blood disorders
-
Nervous agitation
-
Lineage stress
Testing this across charts — especially of children facing early struggles, separation, or institutional upbringing — often reveals Mars–Rahu links.
Even when children are born — happiness from progeny may remain incomplete.
House-Wise Lineage Clues
To decode why this karma exists — observe the sign/house of the combination.
It reveals ancestral imbalance:
-
2nd house / Taurus → Misuse or theft of wealth
-
Gemini → Speech harm, manipulation, hate communication
-
Cancer → Land, property, or domestic injustice
-
8th house → Separation from children, lineage discontinuity
-
9th / 11th links → Disturbance in child’s marriage
If Putra Karaka Mars joins Dara Karaka — the child’s marital life may suffer.
Remember — the result transfers more strongly to the next generation than the native.
Relief Factors
Damage reduces when:
-
Jupiter aspects Mars or Rahu
-
Mars is exalted
-
Rahu is well placed by sign/lordship
Guru’s wisdom stabilises Angarak fire.
Water as the Primary Remedy
Water controls both Mars (heat) and Rahu (poison).
One traditional remedy:
-
During Ganga Snan period (dates via Panchang)
-
Take a silver snake
-
Light a ghee lamp
-
Perform mantra japa (Gayatri 11 times)
-
Wrap and immerse in Ganga
If Ganga is not accessible:
-
Use clean water in a silver vessel
-
Add Gangajal or temple water
-
Add Tulsi leaf
-
Chant Gayatri
-
Immerse the silver snake in that water
This ritual cools lineage fire.
Repeat yearly if required.
Daily Stabilising Practices
-
Visit the local temple regularly
-
Offer fruit or flowers
-
Mark your presence before the Kshetra Devta (regional deity)
The deity governing your geography also governs your protection.
Angarak Dosha does not dissolve overnight. It requires persistence — because we do not know how heavy our karmic baggage is.
